Here’s why you need to meet with your photographer before booking

I know finding a photographer can be hard, but don’t worry, I’ve got you and that’s why I wanna take a look at why it is important to meet with your photographer before booking(keeping in mind that not only will this person have a front row seat to all your private moments and basically your wing-person for your entire wedding day) it’s a super personal service and you want to make sure that you’re absolutely obsessed.

So, here’s why it’s important to actually meet with the photographer before booking (even if it’s a virtual date – it still counts!) because you really don’t want just another person with a camera at your wedding but someone that will serve you hear-fully.

Social proof is amazing for building trust with potential and new clients, but nothing beats having a face-to-face experience with someone. It’s so important to find the trust factor in your potential wedding / elopement photographer and that’s why it’s vitally important to set up a call or in person meeting as client, with your photographer. You need to hire someone who not only matches your vibe, or whose vibe connects with yours and may have the potential for all your check-boxes. A soulful photographer that will tell a better story of you.

Once you’ve taken the plunge and fallen completely in-love with your potential wedding / elopement photographer and their art, you need to be able to trust their process, their vision. You also need to absolutely love the photographs they take, but, it’s also important that you are absolutely obsessed with them as a person!

I don’t only highly recommend that the potential wedding / elopement couple and I meet for a good cup of coffee when a couple’s interested in my services, I kind of almost insist on it – LOL. I want to meet you and truly get to know you. Your moments are just as important to me as my own and I want you to have them to remember.

You and I chat about your wedding / elopement plans and see if you’re a good fit for each other (completely obligation free – but I’ll work very hard on winning you over – LOL – I promise!)

You’ll also get a chance to see examples of my work and other printed products which may be included in my offerings. We all love options and I like to make sure you have enough, without overwhelming you with too much information.

I’ll also give your a rough overview of timeline for your big day and what it’s like working with me, show examples of the different products, show you full wedding galleries, talk you through the different options and which could potentially be your perfect fit, chat about next steps as well as answering any questions you may have and we have some more coffee…
