Come get fully IMMERSED in that First Look on your wedding day!

Heyyyy Lovers, planning and creating your timeline raises some questions about what elements you really want to include in your BEST-DAY-EVER and you’re super intrigued about doing a First Look because it has that fairytale vibe and it’s super trendy…lol. So let’s talk about why this may just be the element you need to add to your list!

What Is the First Look?

The first look is when a couple sees each other for the first time on their wedding day. This intimate moment typically makes for an emotional photo opportunity.

Having said all of that, here’s why I am obsessed with these moments, of you.

01. PEACEFUL MOMENT

This is probably my absolute favourite reasons for doing those first looks, you can share an incredibly special moment with your partner, alone, right before the festivities start because it really does go by in a blink of the eye. Let’s make this an experience, you will never forget!

Why not add a FRIST SPIN to your first look photos! Take a twirl in that dress of your dreams!

02. HEARTFELT WORDS

Taking a moment to focus on your love, on each other, reading your favourite poem or heartfelt words are perfect to pair with your first-look and if they bring you both to tears, after you have successfully wiped away all your partner’s tears, you can use this time to take wedding portraits in various locations around your wedding venue.

This is the REAL wedding.

03. OH WAIT, WHAT! MORE PHOTO OPS? YAAASS!!

Wait, what! Did you actually just say, more photo opportunities? I sure did! Take your time, explore the venue, get fully immersed in nature and the architecture, hold some space for creativity because this is where all those dreamy, romantic photos are born.

04. TAKE THE PRESSURE OFF

Seeing your lover before the big day starts, seeing each other right before the ceremony does not only allow for a few intimate moments before, it also takes the pressure off because your partner makes you feel comfortable. So basically, seeing your partner before will absolutely ease your nerves and allow your ceremony to run so much smoother.

05. MORE TIME WITH YOUR FAM + FRIENDS

Your portraits normally take place shortly after the ceremony and may last for about an hour or two, so, if you choose to have a fully immersed first look, it allows you more time with your guests after the ceremony.
